About Us

            Anchor Rabbitry is owned and ran by the mother-daughter team of Keesha Dobbie and Kayleigh Brubach. We've been raising rabbits since 1998, when we had our first litter of Netherland Dwarfs.

    Over the years we've raised Netherland Dwarfs, Dutch, Lionheads, Holland Lops, New Zealands, Mini Rex, Californians and Britannia Petites. Netherland Dwarfs have always been a constant in our barn, and now we've decided to focus on them. We breed Californians for Evan Brubach's 4-H market rabbits, and usually only have them available in the fall.

            Kayleigh was a 4-H member in Fairfield county for 10 years.  Keesha is the advisor of the Fairfield county 4-H club, Hobbie's N' Hares.
